You may have thought that its nothing more than an overgrown cemetery and former Scout Hall. You may not have even realised it was called St John’s.
I would bet that you didnt know about its history and its unique place in some of the most historic moments in our lives. Thats right, that little old overgrown cemetery has stories to tell….
Previously owned by The Church of Wales, it is now wholly owned by the community of Tonyrefail in the care of the ‘Friends of St Johns Church in Tonyrefail’, a UK registered Charity.
It’s our goal to create a place for us all. A place our whole community can enjoy.
